World Health Organization expects the continuing spread of the Ebola epidemic

Began the spread of the deadly Ebola disease in west Africa last month, has claimed the lives of more than a hundred people in Guinea and Liberia. The World Health Organization predicts continued to spread for 2-4 months before elimination.

The organization points out that the disease is concentrated in three regions located in the forests of Guinea and away from the capital Conakry, which recorded the 20 injured, a distance of 900 km. However the organization did not recommend any restrictions on travel to Guinea, in which the number of cases recorded in which 157 died and 101 injured persons, or to Liberia, which recorded the 21 injured, including 10 ended in death. Said Keiji Fukuda, Assistant Director-General of the organization in a press statement: "We expect the continuation of our fight against this disease during 2-4 months, until we are confident that we have overcome it completely."
