New formulation for the treatment of viral hepatitis C

Scientists confirm that the new method for the treatment of viral hepatitis, helped cure 90% of patients during the 12 weeks only.

Experts consider this event a major shift in the treatment of this disease. Suffering of millions in the world of this disease, and increased mortality because of it year after year, adding that less than 5% of people in developing countries have access to the necessary treatment.

Viral hepatitis is transmitted from one person to another for ways to blood or other fluids from the body of the patient, it can also be transmitted through needles used in tattooing or used jointly by a number of people as it does to the drug addicts.

The scientists tested the Medical Center of the University of Texas in the U.S., new product (tablets) with the participation of 380 infected with the disease in hospitals in Spain, Germany, Britain and the United States, in 2013, and in two phases, the first phase lasted 12 weeks, and the second phase 24 weeks.
